Maalav Mahila Milk Producer Company is committed to source best quality of milk from its member producers spread across 6 districts of Madhya Pradesh, namely Rajgarh, Shivpuri, Guna, Datia,Sheopur and Morena.
The company has set up Milk Pooling Points (MPPs) at village level for collection of raw milk from its member producers. In order to ensure complete transparency in milk collection, Automatic Milk Collection System has been installed at each MPP, which is operated by village level functionary called “Sahayak”.
The quality is checked as per the set Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using analyzers and Data processing units at the MPPs. The milk is thus weighed, tested and the value is calculated without any manual intervention in the presence of member producers. The real time data is transferred using GPRS to central server, and the milk payment is transferred directly to the member’s bank account once in every 10 days.
The pourer is also provided with an acknowledgement receipt mentioning the quality and quantity of milk at the time of milk collection at MPPs. The member also receives SMS from central server about details value of the milk poured.
The collected milk from each MPP is then transferred to Bulk Milk Cooler Unit (BMCU) for chilling. Here the milk is weighed and again all the quality parameters are checked to ensure the best quality milk. The company has a team of qualified quality professionals at BMC level to check the quality of milk. The milk from BMC is then further transported to the plant location.
