About Founder & Chairperson
NJEW Foundation & New Jagannath Education and Welfare Society
Ms. Diksha Rathore is a visionary social entrepreneur and institution builder committed to advancing inclusive and sustainable development through education, empowerment, and community-driven transformation. Her leadership is guided by the conviction that meaningful progress is achieved when every individual is empowered with knowledge, opportunity, dignity, and the confidence to shape their own future.
She believes that education is not merely an instrument of learning, but the cornerstone of human development, social equity, and responsible leadership. For Ms. Rathore, true empowerment extends beyond access to resourcesβit is about enabling individuals to realise their potential through guidance, skills, compassion, and opportunity.
The philosophy that defines her leadership is rooted in a simple yet enduring principle: lasting social change begins when society chooses to invest in people. Whether supporting a child through education, empowering a woman with opportunity, strengthening community health, or enabling youth leadership, she believes that every meaningful intervention has the power to transform generations.
Driven by this vision, Ms. Rathore founded NJEW Foundation and New Jagannath Education and Welfare Society as a platform dedicated to creating sustainable, inclusive, and measurable social impact. The Foundation works across education, womenβs empowerment, healthcare awareness, skill development, youth engagement, environmental responsibility, humanitarian assistance, and community development, with the objective of building resilient communities and expanding equitable opportunities for all.
Her approach to leadership is founded on integrity, empathy, innovation, and collaborative action. She advocates for strong partnerships among communities, educational institutions, government agencies, corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, philanthropic organisations, and development partners, recognising that enduring progress is achieved through collective commitment rather than individual effort.
Looking ahead, Ms. Rathore envisions NJEW Foundation as a nationally respected institution that empowers lives, nurtures future leaders, and contributes to building a more equitable, compassionate, and opportunity-driven society. Her aspiration is not only to address immediate social challenges but also to strengthen systems that enable individuals and communities to thrive with dignity, resilience, and self-reliance.
